WTF?!?! It uses both Bitdefender & Avast engines?!?!?!?!?! You mean to tell me its 99.6% detection rate as of 2010 is actually because its not actually an innovative engine which beats all competitions and proved, but is using 2 lower class anti viruses engines!!!!!!!!!
“… sexy interface …” loooool btw. on PCs where I use Windows along with Linux I use Avira + Comodo on XP. Commercial software is worse than free but we must know what free software is the best.
@Midnighttoker70 My friend took Matt’s idea with these review videos and tries to show AV and security software that blocks malicious files from installing. Check them out on YouTube at rynesandbergfan23
i also use avast!, its a great antivirus, blocks the virus before it even enters my pc, it irrupts the download as soon as it detects that the file ur downloading consists a virus.
for all of the people commenting about G-data being slow. thats completly false
it depends on ur pc system how fast a scan is
my FULL PC SCAN is done within 20 mins.
so no it is not slow, and to me is the ebst virus scanner available.
No, Avast+BitDefender combination is definitely better. In 2008 versions the combo was Avast+Kaspersky, but BitDefender is a better choice than Kaspersky. AV-Test results also confirms this (2009 version is better than 2008 version according to the last test result).
Also Avast is very good on malware database (one of the bests), look AV-Test and AV-Comparatives results.
Hey u rocks!! good job i lov your vid Hey were can i get GDATA and your vid is not boring it cool i love wacthing virus atTACK were can i get malware?;D

people that complain about their computer getting slow with a anti virus have a bad computer.
Gdata is no longer a resource hog since it use a bitdefender engine combined with avast
Man, you rock with these reviews and tests. I’m subscribed!!
And also, Suicidal Tendencies rocks!
id rather have an antivirus thats slow and gets everything off than one that goes super fast but barley gets anything off

G DATA is a way too slow.
frustatin’
bitdefender is junk slows the shit out of your computer…
Thank goodness for finding the world of malware removal. I would freak out and be sick to my stomach if there was no way to remove this.
G Data + Firewall = well reason :)
my opinion: how the nod32 works (light on resoruces) and the detection of avira and the less false positives alarms of mcafee.
Background music is great :P

However, Avast+Avira would be great. :)
NOD32 just sucks, its database is weak.
