I have a new PC just few times back and with the specification of more than 500GB hard drive 4 GB RAM and I-7 processor which is almost the latest and trendy today. In the begging it works like a charm but gradually all of sudden it becomes slow and works as if I have been using his for years. Actually this is not only issue (Slow PC) alone but it can be seen with most of the PCs today. They become slow as time elapses and sometime not only Slow PC issue but there can be freezing auto shutting down, blue screen of death and many more PC related issues might be seen easily.

Many times I have written about this issue (Slow PC) and every time I wrote about the slow PC issue I found a new cause and tried to resolve it simultaneously as soon as possible. If we exclude hardware part of a PC (If you are using poor hardware you cannot expect a maximum performance from your PC and this is exception that unless a good hardware expected performance cannot be achieved) software in fact application programs that are being used mostly in any PC are also among the big reasons behind a Slow PC issue. Although Viruses (There are also hundreds of factors that makes a PC slow or behind a slow PC) top most of the time but we cannot ignore the application programs that also cause and create a slow PC issue.

A straight forward and a great advice “Not to use much programs in your PC always” that is try using as few programs as possible applications in your PC. A big collection of programs not only occupy memory on your hard drive but they also create many issues like slow PC, conflicting with each others, some of them run always in the background as well and takes CPU times unnecessary so PC becomes sluggish. Now a days almost all the programs’ vendor developed his application such a way that it will start with windows boot time and it gets registered in windows startup list so that will be running while windows boots. If there are number of programs listed under startup list windows automatically will take longer than expected time to boot. This means Slow PC again. You may uncheck the startup list directly through going inside msconfig windows and can uncheck all the items that are not required during the boot time (Please note windows always hides its essential and system files that are needed to start windows you cannot uncheck the entries that are essential windows components, so don’t be worried about unchecking system files). One more advice here to speedup boot performance and get rid from a slow PC or slow startup issue is- Just go to boot.ini in msconfig windows and change the default system boot time (which is in seconds and 30 by default) to 5 seconds.

Apart from this all a virus scanner (any antivirus, anti Malware adware programs) can be used for slow PC issue and you may also use any good computer cleaner, a PC doctor or any well know PC fixer however before using any computer cleaner to fix your slow PC issue you need to ensure it won’t make unnecessary corrections so that in place of increasing the speed of getting get of slow PC issue lest it may damage your PC by changing any important registry value. It is because most of the computer cleaner or registry repair tools make changes to windows registry and eliminate the malicious and unwanted items. In this fair practice sometime they may remove such entry that is required by windows or any file that is windows core system file.
