Ad.yield, adbrite, sitetracking, are attached to many Yahoo sites when browsing. Everytime I shut down I have to run ANTI-SPY ware to get rid of them. I tried to write them to stop but no success.

My laptop speakers were working fine, until one day they just stopped. I took the computer to Best Buy (hate them), and they said they found a virus. He seemed to imply that the virus caused the speakers to stop working. Is this possible?
Oh crap! Sorry, I meant microphone. The built-in microphone that I use for Skype is no longer working. I spoke with Geek Squad and he clarified that they can’t (won’t) even check the mic until the viruses are removed. I really hate them.
